J.C. Goodwin D.M.D.
J.C. Goodwin, D.M.D. is an Arizona native with family in the southwest since the 1870's. He credits his pioneer legacy with helping him develop a strong sense of family and community. This is evident in his volunteer work with the Kiwanis for over twenty years and in the care he delivers in his practice.
A 1984 graduate of the University Of Alabama School Of Dentistry, he has a diverse professional background including three years of public health dentistry on the Navajo reservation and has been in private practice in Prescott, AZ since 1987. He organized the first professional study club in Prescott and participated for twelve years.
Dr. Goodwin has participated in specialized training and education for sleep apnea. He is member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and is a Diplomate in the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Dentistry. |

He is a Fellow of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry and a member of both The American Dental Association and the Arizona State Dental Association. Through his other dental practice, A Dental Fitness Center (also based in Prescott), he is an Associate Practice with The Centers For Dental Medicine.
Dr. Goodwin has published numerous articles on sleep apnea disorders in both medical trade journals and consumer publications. He has been featured on both radio and TV shows for his knowledge on dental sleep medicine. Dr. Goodwin is passionate about his practice and is supportive of his community, including civic, business and charity involvement. Sleep Effect Center for Apnea Management serves the Northern Arizona market.
